Privacy and Regulatory Requirements

RBC Royal Bank (Jamaica) Limited is a licenced commercial bank operating in and governed by the laws of Jamaica. The principal governance and regulatory legislation is the Banking Act of 1992 and the Supervisory Agency is the Bank of Jamaica.

Section 45 of the Banking Act prohibits the disclosure of client information and the Fourth Schedule to the Act sets out the limited conditions under the Bank can make disclosure. Employees are required to comply with this obligation during the course of employment, and also after termination of employment.
