This service is offered to individuals and companies who wish their assets to be held in the name of a nominee entity, rather than in their own name.  In all cases of nominee holdings, the client remains as the beneficial or actual owner of the security. The client is free to terminate this arrangement, and have legal title to the assets put back into his name at any point in time and without penalty.

When the assets are transferred into RBC Trust (Trinidad & Tobago) Limited’s name as a nominee, no stamp duty is charged as no beneficial interest in the property is passed. This, like all our services, is of course subject to AML scrutiny before we accept the funds.
