Most Outstanding Young Leader

The Young Leaders programme places great emphasis on leadership and teamwork, and we all know that a team is only as strong as its individual members.

Each Young Leaders team is asked to nominate one member whom they feel best embodies the qualities of a leader…tomorrow’s leader.

The nominee must be a visionary, able to foresee and communicate desired outcomes. He or she must have good organisational skills, with the ability to direct and influence others to produce results in a positive way.

The nominee for Most Outstanding Young Leader must possess problem-solving skills. He or she must be able to resolve dilemmas and disputes while minimising resistance and maximising acceptance.

The nominee must be a motivator, capable of inspiring and coaching others towards the realisation of a purposeful, viable goal.
